ALLIED NEUROLOGY AND INTERVENTIONAL PAIN PRACTICE (ANIPP) IS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY MEDICAL PARTNERSHIP THAT IS UNIQUELY QUALIFIED TO DEAL WITH PAIN DISORDERS.

Neurology
Neurology is the medical speciality that deals with the brain, the spinal cord and the peripheral nerves – the structures that mediate our experience of the outside world as it affects our body and also conveys information about what is happening to our body, including the feeling of pain. Neurologists are uniquely trained to undestand the factors that produce and modify the sensation of pain.

Interventional Pain Management Techniques
Interventional Pain Management techniques are minimally invasive procedures including, percutaneous precision needle placement, with placement of drugs in targeted areas or ablation of targeted nerves; and some surgical techniques such a laser or endoscopic diskectomy, intrathecal infusion pumps and spinal cord stimulators, for the diagnosis and management of chronic, persistent or intractable pain.

The combined clinical expertise of Drs. Rosenbaum and Nasiek, both board certified and extensively experienced in their respective specialities, gives Allied Neurology and Interventional Pain Practice unsurpassed ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat disorders that results in pain, including injuries to the head, neck, back, spine and nerves.

The complete armamentarium of medicines effective in the management of pain are utilized as indicated. The practice also has extensive experience working with chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and holistic practitioners in conservative and non-invasive techniques to treat pain.

If these prove inadequate, ANIPP is equipped to provide the full spectrum of state-of-the-art interventional procedures.

The Practice also has well-established cooperative relationships with neurosurgery and spinal surgery specialists if such approaches prove to be necessary.
